Studio Etiquette

Your presence is important to everyone in the class. Please plan to arrive a bit early, so we can start as One.

Practice wisely and with ahimsa. Forcing your way into a pose is never safe!

DO check in with your teacher if you are pregnant, if you have any injuries, or other sensitivities that might affect your practice.

Avoid wearing chemical perfumes. Some students have allergic reactions or sensitivities.

Cleanliness and personal hygiene show respect for your practice, your fellow students, and your teacher. Strong body odors will intensify during practice: Please be mindful of this and use deodorant or essential oils as necessary.

Respect others by washing your hands, especially during cold and flu season.

Our floor is cleaned and disinfected after each class. There are a few ways you can help us keep our mat-floor in perfect condition for your practice for years to come:

  • Take a moment to wipe your sweet feet with an eco-wipe (provided at the entrance).
  • Remove any sharp jewelry, hair pins or metal objects.
