Our MissionFrom the Taittiriya Upanishad What is needful? Satyavacas, the Truthful , says: ‘Truth.’ ~I.9
Root of Yogi WayYes, Yogi Way does mean “the way of the yogis” / the yogic path. However, initially, this name was inspired by the Milky Way. I often think about how magical it is that we are all sheltered under the same sky. We never cease to be drawn to this glorious, mysterious galaxy, that seems so beyond us. It is the same way that I imagine people are drawn to the depth of life and the unknown. This type of yearning almost makes us One. In Yoga, we read about the sacred teaching of Atman, the Universal spirit. We learn how it is a tradition of Oneness. For me, the sacred spiral of the Milky Way resembles this complex, intricate web that weaves us together. Each one of us, even the tiniest being, can cause an effect in the whole spectrum of things. The timeless, formless universe shows this sacred teaching in such a open way. Love, life, karma exit beyond the limitation of time and space, just as what happened billions of years ago, still appears in front of our eyes… When I realize this, I can feel the spiral of the stars moving beneath my flesh. The same magic, perhaps that happens underneath the earth, and beneath another one’s skin. For me, this feeling is a very similar to the boundless freedom that Yoga offers.
We would love to hear from you!
